Daily Bites Of God's Word Blog Series - Part 3 - Psalm 119:3
Just as we need daily food to sustain us physically, we also need daily food from God’s Word to sustain us spiritually.
3 They also do not work unrighteousness;
They walk in His ways.
We had the positive of observing His testimonies, walking in the law of the Lord, and seeking with all your heart in the previous two verses. Now the negative aspect, they do not work unrighteousness. They walk in His ways.
Do you walk in His ways?
Do you walk in submission and obedience to the Word of God?
Does your church obey the Word of God?
Do your pastors obey the Word of God? Do your deacons obey the Word of God?
Do your congregants obey the Word of God?
Do you, Christian, obey the Word of God?
You do not work unrighteousness, meaning you are not seeking to work unrighteousness. You’re not seeking to sin. You’re not seeking to be disobedient. Why? Because you’re seeking with all your heart to be obedient.
You can’t walk, live, and pattern your life after someone or something if you don’t know what that thing is. So you have to study Scripture. You have to study the Word of God. You’re going to have to study the Word of God to know Christ. It’s about taking action, moving forward, being obedient versus disobedient.
