Welcome To God Centered Theology
This is the place for consistent God-Centered, God-Honoring, and God-Glorifying biblical content.
God Centered Theology means that we start with God and then reason down to man. We base our understanding of the world, Scripture, and our lives on what God has revealed. Our worldview comes from God and not from ourselves.
Man Centered Theology starts with man. It starts with the creature and then fashions a god from its own finite reasoning.

This post tells the story of God-Centered Theology and how it came to be.
Origin Story (2016-2017)
Everything and everybody has an origin story. The origin story of God Centered Theology begins in the summer of 2016. Granted, it was not called God Centered Theology then. The original name was “By His Grace.”
The original tagline was “Everything that we have and everything that we are is by the grace of God.” I had been saying that for years and incorporated it into my public ministry. I still use the line today, but it is more of a personal motto now for how I see everything.
My understanding of God Centered Theology and the need for it both personally and in the church, was there in the beginning, and I even briefly considered calling it by that name then. However, it did not fully develop until years later.
Original Plans
As I was developing all of this in my mind, I was beginning to see the need to invest in online ministry. The “public square,” as it were, was changing, and everything was moving online. I began to study audio podcasting, blogging, and website design.
A lot has changed since those early days, now 1 decade later (at the time of this writing, 7/7/26). However, what has not changed are my foundational principles for online ministry. Chief among these is that online ministry can be an ENHANCEMENT to the local church and not a REPLACEMENT for it.
Website Design Origins (August 2016)
My entry into learning to build websites began as a church member. The person editing the website left, and I told the Pastor I was interested in building websites. I told him that if I were horrible at it, then the Church would only lose a few weeks. However, if I find myself good at it, then the Church saves a ton of money. Either way, the church wins!
As it turns out, I did have a talent for it, and my journey into the wonderful world of website building began! Since those days, I have come to learn and be proficient at a multitude of website-building platforms, the chief of which, of course, is WordPress. I have built many websites and have grown in my ability over the past decade.
I prioritize tasks like image and page optimization because nobody likes a slow website! I also bring my strong organizational skills to the work as well.
Podcast Origins (2017)
As I began to survey the landscape of online ministry, it became apparent very quickly that podcasting and audio/video content were the future. In and around 2016/2017, audio was still King. In some ways, it still is.
However, I could also see a move towards video. Things were far different then. There was no readily available 4K. Internet speeds were slower then, too. So, downloading and uploading were a chore! My speeds were 50 download and roughly 11 upload. Trying to use an 11 upload speed for the file sizes we use today would be insanity!
So, I bought a cheap Microphone, began using the free program “Audacity” for audio recording and editing, and the rest, as they say, is history!
Online Content Development (2017-2020)
From day one, my online ministry was just like the rest of my life. I had/have a huge commitment to continual improvement and change to meet current needs. Nothing triggers me more than to hear someone say, “That’s the way we’ve always done it!” Spare me! Change is a part of life. One may not like it, but without it, growth will not come.
I quickly went from basic audio editing to purchasing my first Blue Yeti Mic, which I still have today! During this time, I was also Pastoring a church in Emporia, Virginia, where I learned about recording video. I purchased my first camera, the Canon VIXIA HF R800, learned how to feed audio from a soundboard to it, and even began learning about the world of wireless mics!
Online Content Platforms
While developing my skills in the online world, I also began learning which platforms are best for presenting this content to the world. In my opinion, YouTube is king when it comes to this debate. However, there are several other options available to the Christian content creator, whether as an individual or as a church or organization.
Sermon Audio
Sermon Audio is the best place online for housing Christian content. I remember when they only did audio and were a fairly basic site. Now, they have a completely revamped online experience, including an app, live streaming, video hosting, and much more! The pricing on Sermon Audio is steeper than in many other places. However, if you or your church can afford it, you will have one of the best global reaches for your content available today!
Substack
Substack is amazing! My website is hosted on Substack. I highly recommend it!
I believe Substack will be around for the long haul. They have a high commitment to continual improvement, which is one of my foundational principles. Since I have been working on Substack over the past 5 years, I have seen growth, development, and change in so many ways!
I have always been in search of a place where I could house audio, video, blog articles, and more. Substack provides that! I could go on and on about Substack, but I think you get the picture.
I have also had the opportunity to use and learn many other platforms like PodBean, RSS.com, Captivate FM, Ghost Pro, Squarespace, Rumble, and many more!
Content Legacy For Others
Another area of God Centered Theology that is very near to my heart is the services we provide to help others realize their online ministry dreams. I love assisting Pastors in getting their sermons recorded and published. This is a huge need for those who preach God’s Word faithfully each week as a legacy for their families.
This desire began when I searched for my grandfather’s content. It took some time, but I found someone who had some tapes of his singing and preaching. I digitized the content, and now it is available to me and anyone else who loved him forever.
This desire and subsequent work gave birth to the services I currently provide. I help, as often as I can, to instruct and assist Pastors, Churches, and online organizations with getting their content out to the world. You can find a list of our services and pricing below.
Present Day God Centered Theology
It is now 2026, and what started as “By His Grace” has evolved into God Centered Theology. I think this was always going to be the result, but it took some years of development to reach this goal.
In 2026, God Centered Theology has a full website on Substack, a YouTube Channel, a Let’s Church Channel, a Rumble Channel, and a Buy Me A Coffee Site for those who want to support our work either on a one-time or recurring basis.
I am also the Website & Media Specialist for a few online ministries detailed below.
